This position is responsible for the provision of high quality pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population.  Responsibilities include the dispensing of medications for hospital patients, providing relevant, up-to-date clinical information to clinical staff, physicians, and patients, continuous assessment and evaluation of drug therapies, and following hospital-approved protocols for dosing selected medications.  In addition, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned.  This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy. 
 
Qualifications
Possesses appropriate knowledge of basic pharmacologic principles and their application in the provision of quality patient care.  Good communication skills and experience with computerized pharmacy systems necessary. Current Pharmacist Licensure from the Florida State Board of Pharmacy. Hospital experience preferred.
