Director of Pharmacy/US/Hospitals

The Pharmacy Director is responsible for leading and directing the department in all aspects of practices and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and accrediting organizations. Principle responsibilities include strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance and quality improvement.  The director will incorporate innovative practices into departmental operations to enhance proficiency, efficiency and effectiveness.  The director will integrate pharmacy services with the hospital’s continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Pharmacy Director maintains professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
