Bachelor’s in nursing optional; advanced degree, preferred
Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, preferred
Five (5) years experience in transplantation with the experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations, and management of supervisory positions.
Thorough knowledge of transplant process.
Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between the clinical and financial aspects of transplantation.
Proven experience in contract negotiations with third party payors.
Ability to interact effectively with various groups or one on one.
Excellent communication/articulation skills. Must have the ability to develop strategic plan for the transplant program in accordance with the organization’s goals.
