JOB SUMMARY: Screens and assesses nutritional status of patient/residents. Develops and implements care plans, coordinating services with medical staff and ancillary services. Provides nutrition education for patients/residents. Represents the Health System as a nutrition resource person. Participates in clinical Quality Assessment & Improvement activities for the department. Enters clinical nutrition charges into the computer. May be required to work flexible hours. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Bachelor of Science in Dietetics required. Registered with the American Dietetic Association or registry eligible with registration within one year of hire. Certification/licensure or eligible with certification/licensure within one year of hire applicable to specific state.
