- Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
- Previous hospital experience required
Performs tests and procedures in those specialties in which he/she is qualified by education, training and experience, in order to meet the needs of patients, as ordered by the medical staff. Independent judgment is exercised when performing laboratory procedures, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Performs responsibilities within CLIA, JCAHO, state and federal guidelines for Laboratory Services. Follows hospital and laboratory policies and procedures.
