The Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for patient care services, as well as the managerial functions of setting objectives; planning; staffing and directing activities for patient care services. The CNO will also be responsible for:
· Developing managers within the organization that possess leadership traits consistent with the organization vision.
· Developing and recommending operating and forecast capital for division and actively participates in forecast process for NCH Healthcare System.
· Developing organization–wide patient care programs, policy and procedures on how nursing care needs for specific populations receiving nursing care are assessed, evaluated and met.
Serving as an executive member of our leadership team reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, our Chief Nursing Officer will have an opportunity to implement a Nursing Shared Governance and lead our highly skilled team of nurses. The ideal candidate will be a true visionary leader, possess a Florida State Nursing Licensure, a BSN and Master’s required and 5+ years CNO experience. We prefer candidates experienced in a Nursing Shared Governance environment and/or Magnet Hospital.
