qualification:
Must have a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or Health Care Administration from an accredited university plus five years of experience in a contemporary institutional and/or ambulatory pharmacy practice; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer participation in an American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP) Residency program.
primary purpose:
Ensures the quality of the inpatient care division’s pharmacy services through ongoing monitoring for medication safety and operational performance in assigned areas. Develops new and/or revises existing procedures for consideration by the director.Maintains and implements knowledge of all rules, regulations, policies, procedures,guidelines, and laws that impact and govern the inpatient care division in order to ensure that the division is in compliance. Responds to patients, visitors, and other healthcare professionals requests forassistance, information, and needs in a timely and empathetic manner in order to improve overall inpatient pharmacy services.
