Analyzes and reports test data accurately in any or all of the following areas: Microbiology
Performs moderate and high complexity testing. Responsibilities include all areas in Microbiology-specimen processing, Gram stains, and fungus, O&P, serological testing, associated QC, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S or B.A) from four-year college or university in Medical Technology or a related field, or Florida Licensed Medical Technologist MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA) or equivalent preferred and currently licensed by the State of Florida.
Minimum 2 years of current experience in a Clinical Microbiology Laboratory.
