Director of HIM
Requirements: Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for the Health Information Management (HIM) department in support of Hospital strategic objectives and program planning. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to patient record management. Coordinates physician credentialing by assuring the integrity of qualified healthcare providers. Serves as Privacy Officer to oversee all ongoing activities covering the privacy of, and access to, patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws.
