- American Heart Association BLS
- Current RN FL. license
- 1 to 2 years related experience required
Provides patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team based on national standards, and utilizing the nursing process. Appropriately and within the Nurse Practice Act and other regulating bodies delegates to and directs the care provided to the patient by the LPN, PCA and HUC. Participates in process improvement, professional education and committees and meetings to maintain competence and advance the mission and values of theHospital. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • IABP certification. • Able to wear radiation protective lead aprons in excess of 8 hours while standing and walking. • Demonstrated ability to circulate all diagnostic procedures done in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab. • Demonstrated ability to perform hemodynamic recording appropriate to procedure. • Demonstrated ability to process cineagraphic film correctly. • ACLS certification. • Demonstrated ability to perform all ancillary procedures in the Cath Lab Holding area. • Demonstrated ability to administer all pre and post Cath/EP patient care.
