The Emergency Department Campus Director has 24 hour responsibility in the management of assigned Emergency Department(s). She/He is under the direct supervision of the campus DON or Administrator.  He/She is responsible for staffing and management of personnel assigned. Is responsible for overseeing utilization of all resources, for performance improvement and operations, and for providing a safe environment. The Campus Director facilitates interdepartmental and intradepartmental, medical staff and community relationships and seeks ways to improve the quality of care delivered in the Emergency Department. Manages and directs to ensure cost and quality and to improve patient satisfaction. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
