Responsible for overseeing, supervising and administrating all laboratory activities, in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards. Will comply with all criteria mandated by appropriate accrediting and licensing agencies. Directs a wide variety of administrative, clinical and fiscal activities to align goals and meet objective of the hospital and laboratory.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with major in medical technology or related biological science required.  Master’s degree preferred.
Current FL licensure required.
Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years laboratory managerial experience required.
Must have strong leadership skills to provide direct supervision of laboratory and pathology personnel.
General understanding and knowledge of financial and operational systems of the laboratory required.
Must have strong computer skills with ability to multi-task.
