Administrative Director of Imaging Services shall, in conjunction with other department directors and administration, help create an environment that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission and goals.  The Administrative Director of Imaging is ultimately responsible for the formulation and implementation, either personally or through delegation, policies and procedures, for the safe, efficient, cost effective and up to date patient care practices.
 
      Integrates the Imaging Services into the hospital’s primary function.
      Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the Imaging Services
      Continuously assesses and improves the performance of patient care and Imaging Services.
      Coordinates and provides in-service training and continuing education of all persons in the department.
 
This position is a working director position, willing to step in and take films when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiology  program
BS, BA or management experience, preferably 5 years or more in an acute care hospital.
 
Minimum Experience/Skills:
Previous supervisory experience in an acute care hospital.
