Director of Nutrition Services/Hospital

Provides leadership and management of Nutrition Services department to ensures high quality nutritional services and high customer/patient satisfaction.   Manages diet and menu planning for patients and employees, proper storage and preparation of food supplies and equipment, and the maintenance of the food service area according to sanitation standards.  Oversees procurement of food from vendors.  Responsible for providing leadership and effective personnel management to nutrition services staff, the implementation of a continuous performance improvement plan and consistent adherence to regulatory standards.
