E 6. Determines and ensures the competence of all staff members is assessed, maintained, demonstrated, and improved on an ongoing basis.

E 7.  Assists the Administrative Supervisor with efficient allocation of resources.

E 8. Continuously assesses and improves the performance of care and services provided.

E 9. Maintains and Adheres to quality control programs, as appropriate.

E10 Responsible for coordination of orientation, provision of inservice training and continuing education for all persons in the department.

E11 Recommends space and other resources needed by the department

E12.  Participates in selecting sources for needed services not provided by the department of the organization

E11. Maintains and improves own nursing knowledge.

E12.  Supports the hospital’s mission, goal and objectives.

Medical Tech Job needed ASAP

Description
 
The Medical Technologist performs laboratory testing in one or more sections of the laboratory that assists with the diagnosis of patients.  The tasks and responsibilities include:

Processes specimens, prepares reagents, performs testing procedures; reports and interprets test results.
Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and references ranges for test methods.
Works with Physician to analyze results and conduct more difficult, non-routine tests.
Serves as a consultant to medical laboratory technicians and phlebotomists as needed.
Orients and mentors new staff members.
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist, The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) assists in the practice of physical therapy. Responsibilities and tasks include:

Carries out treatment plans that have been established by a licensed physical therapist for inpatients and outpatients.
Directs and aids patients in therapeutic exercise, gait and functional training, applies therapeutic modalities, and performs other activities according to the plan of care established by the licensed physical therapist and as permitted by the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Assists the physical therapist during patient testing, evaluations and complex procedures.
Instructs patients on segments of the plan of care including proper use of wheelchairs, crutches, canes braces and prosthetic appliances and devices.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications include:
Current licensure as an RN.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS.
